Hi, my name is Arnab, I'm an Aerospace Engineer currently working in the Defence industry in Melbourne, Australia. I was brought up here in Melbourne by my parents; my father is a Marine Engineer by profession, currently working as a Management System Lead Auditor with a leading certification body. My mother is a Librarian by profession currently working at Monash University.

I've completed a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from University of New South Wales, Canberra, located at the Australian Defence Force Academy. Before that, I completed a double degree in Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and Bachelor of Science from Monash University in Melbourne. I studied in Ivanhoe Grammar School in Melbourne, and completed an International Baccalaureate Diploma from there.

Away from work and study, I'm a huge... more motorsport fan and loved cars and planes growing up. I use to draw all these wacky cars and planes during my formative years, and this has transitioned into an interest in sketching and photography as an adult. I also play soccer and cricket socially, and visit the gym somewhat regularly. In terms of music, I chill out to both western electronic music as well as Indian instrumental and ghazals. My happy place is on the couch listening to music, or enjoying a great book with a hot-chocolate in hand. I also would love to travel more, with Japan and the South Island of New Zealand first on the list...

Characteristics of my ideal partner are hard to pin down, everyone is so different, but I'd prefer a professional based in Australia or New Zealand, or who would be willing to settle down in Australia. I'm open to marriage after a period of getting to know each other and being comfortable that we'd be well suited to each other.
