I was born and brought up in Kolkata. I did my schooling from Bidya Bharati. I pursued Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to joining Ph.D., I did my B.E. from BESU, Shibpur, and M.Tech. from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, all in Computer Science. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher at Vanderbilt University. I am flexible to relocate to other countries in the future depending on requirements.

Besides studies, I am interested in music and dance. I was trained in Indian Classical Music, Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Geeti. I also learnt Kathak dance for a few years. I am a nature lover. I often go out for a nature walk or stroll out in the evening during my leisure hours.

I am an open-minded, independent, friendly and cheerful girl. I love to travel and explore nature, often go for nature walks and hikes in the weekends.

I am looking for a life partner who is down to earth, simple,... more supportive, friendly and honest. I am flexible to relocate and settle in any country.

I am from a bengali middle-class close-knit family with moderate values, residing in South Kolkata. My father is a Mechanical Engineer. He worked in a private firm, currently retired. My mother is a homemaker. I have a younger brother who is currently pursuing Electronics Engineering.
