In Name Visible on Login's own words: I am a graduate student pursuing my PhD in Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am a progressive economist, and I strive to contribute to social justice through my academic and voluntary work. After my PhD (expected graduation in Summer 2024), I hope to find an academic job in a university.

Besides my academic work, I love being in nature, and cycling, swimming and gardening are a regular part of my life. I recently leased a plot in a community garden, and have been enjoying growing veggies!. I also enjoy cooking, and thoughtfully beautifying indoor spaces, especially with plants. I also try to dedicate a few hours to voluntary work every week, and I am spiritually inclined. I have a quiet yet sociable personality, and have lots of good friends I keep up with. I believe I am a very open-minded and curious person, and love to learn from the people around me. Due to my open-minded nature, I am usually able to appreciate and get along... more with a wide variety of people, with diverse backgrounds and interests.

I hope to be with someone with compatible values with whom I share a similar vision for our shared future. I hope to be with someone who is kind, supportive and understanding. Most importantly, I hope to be with a good human being who thinks of their partner as an equal person.

The middle of our 3 daughters, Name Visible on Login is a bright, mature and well turned out person with a pleasing personality. She is Convent educated and went to prestigious institutions throughout, where she proved to be a meritorious student. Presently she is in UMASS for her doctoral studies. Her father is an engineer by profession and had been running his own factory in Delhi. Her mother is a post graduate and till recently, was running a pre school. Name Visible on Login's elder sister is doing a PhD in sociology from the University of Minnesota in the US while her younger sister is an engineer MBA by profession and employed with Siemens. Members of our extended family are all well educated and highly placed professionals. We're a Delhi based family, presently living in DLF, Gurgaon. I would describe us as simple, cultured, God fearing folks. We look forward to finding a well educated, well placed and compatible match for our daughter. Importantly we look forward to our daughter marrying into a family where she feels at home.
