My son Abhi was born in Hyderabad, India, and moved to the United States at the age of one. He was raised in the suburbs of Chicago, where he spent his formative years from Pre K through high school. Abhi went to college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, earning a bachelor’s degree in public policy.

Abhi is currently a Senior Manager for AI Policy at Microsoft, based in New York City. Prior to that he worked in Washington, D.C., where he contributed to various science and technology policy research roles. These included positions at academic think tanks, non-profit advocacy organizations, and government policy research bodies. Notably, Abhi completed a two-year fellowship advising the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and gained valuable experience in federal management consulting.

Outside of work, Abhi is passionate about exploring new restaurants and parks, and he enjoys visiting friends in different cities, including... more Washington, D.C., Chicago, Durham, Seattle and Philadelphia. A college basketball enthusiast, Abhi also loves Football, hiking and cherishes the time spent with his beloved Border Terrier puppy, Arjun. He is a social, family-oriented individual who deeply values the bonds of friendship and family.
